Irregular Verbs

79. The Irregular Verbs decir, ir, poder, querer, venir.

Present Indicative
 
a. decir, to say b. ir, to go

In the past descriptive indicative, decir, poder, querer, venir, are regular: decía, podía, quería, venía, etc. The only verbs in the language which are irregular in this tense are ser, ver, and ir (see 95, 493). The past descriptive of ir is:

  iba, I was going, etc. íbamos
ibas ibais
iba iban
